Grocery find: Hansel Cheese Crackers
If you love Ritz cheese sandwich crackers, you’ll enjoy these Hansel Premium Cheese Sandwich crackers I found at Rustan’s supermarket in Shangri-la.
Im always on the lookout for cheesy goodies to snack on, and grabbed 2 boxes of this to try.
They’re cheesy, creamy and crunchy. We had them while stuck in traffic, on our way to dinner, and finished them up in a jiffy! Rich loves them too!
Im stocking up on these on my next grocery trip!
I love potatoes. I could live on them, have them for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and in between every.single.day.
So, when RIch and I were at SM hypermart in Pasig for some late night grocery shopping last night, I immediately spotted this new stall with a baked french fries concept called Friends Fries by the Fruitas group.
They use the same kind of potatoes you would see in other fries stalls, except that they use a turbo cooker vs. the usual fryer to make you your fries. This also means it takes them longer to prepare. (estimated cooking time is at 15 mins/order) They are a few bucks cheaper (than my true love, potato corner) and have a lot of similar size offerings. Here’s there price list:
We tried just a small order of the baked sour cream fries, P25 (vs. potato corner’s P35/small order)
Rich didnt like them at all, but for a girl who loves anything potatoes, I found them tasty enough.
The one thing I missed was the usual oily taste in my mouth after biting into a fry. There was none of that— and my taste buds were left confused because it did resemble my usual french fry. :p
Im trying a different flavor on my next visit. I mean, what potato lover would be able resist that cute, clever name?
Here’s some fashion inspiration for tonight’s date!
Flirty, feminine and romantic.
Happy Valentine’s, everyone!
